Porsche Names Tim Quinn General Manager, Vehicle SalesPCNA Veteran Brings Strong Experience to Key Position
ATLANTA, GEORGIA, NOVEMBER 9, 2001 --- Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA) today announced the appointment of Tim Quinn, a PCNA veteran with a broad industry background, to the position of general manager, Vehicle Sales.
Quinn has been with PCNA for more than 11 years and most recently was manager, Vehicle Distribution and Logistics.
“PCNA is excited to announce Tim’s appointment,” said Richard Ford, executive vice president and chief operating officer. “For this position, we needed a strong leader and innovator who knows the product, the customer and the dealers. Tim has done everything in this business, from sales, service and parts positions to honing PCNA’s distribution processes. The right person for the job was here all along.”
Before joining PCNA, Quinn was national field operations manager for parts and service and national parts manager, respectively, for Sterling Motor Cars. He also worked at American Honda Motor Company, where he held managerial positions in functions including sales, service and customer relations. He started his career in dealerships, working in both service and sales manager positions.

Porsche AG, PCNA employs some 200 people who provide Porsche vehicles, parts, marketing and training for its 204 dealers in the United States and Canada.
