Instead of having all of the normally aspirated 3.6-liter “boxer” engine’s 315 horsepower (SAE) going to the rear wheels, Porsche’s lightweight all-wheel drive system sends as much as 40 percent of its power to the front wheels to help drivers handle those unexpected twists and turns while also adding traction in inclement weather.
